and cholesterol levels were examined. The results obtained are as follows;
1. In the 140-240 mg/dl range of serum cholesterol, the mean of serum lipid peroxide by the age of 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70, were 3.5,3.6, 3.9, 4.3, and 3.6 nmol/ml for males 3.4, 3.7, 3.9, 4.5, and 4.2 nmol/ml for female subjects, respectively.
2. When the concentration of serum cholesterol was less than 140 mg/dL, the rang´ of serum lipid peroxide were 3.9-7.5 nmol/ml for males and 3.6-7.8 nmol/ml for females. When the concentration of serum cholesterol was more than 240mg/dl., the range of serum lipid´ peroxide were 4.4-7.0 nmol/ml for males and 3.9-7.0 nmol/ml for females.
3. The concentration of lipid peroxide were 6.2±1.96 nmol/ml in chronic hepatitis, 6.9±0.99 nmol/ml in fatty liver, and 5.8±1.8 nmol/ml in diabetes for Korean adults.
